
I grew up in West Texas and moved to Southern California when I joined the Marine Corps. I married my high school sweet-heart and live in North County San Diego with my four amazing children.
About Me.
My name is Rosalia Aleman. I am a Child and Adolescent Development (CHAD) major, and I have a masters in special education. I am currently a special education teacher in North County San Diego. I have three credential to teach general education, special education mild/mod, and special education mod/severe. Also, I have an autism authorization, and a bilingual authorization. I have four children on the autism spectrum. My family and I, have had to navigate a plethora of services here in North County San Diego. It can be overwhelming looking through different supports to find the right ones. We have come a cross amazing individuals that have helped our family along our journey. There are different types of supports for parents and guardians of children with special needs. There are also many informal supports that can be found in our community to form connections from one parent to another.
